[Vala has been eating this flood up, watching people get schmoopy or snarky. But now she's bored, and would like to, you know, star in the movie instead of watch it. It's just not fair, she never gets to be in the show.]

Honestly, is it too much to ask for a dozen roses? Or chocolates? Because I certainly wouldn't say no to either.

They also would not set well in a vase of water, however they would not be prone to wilting.

Wilting is a very big problem with roses. I bet they'd do well in an empty vase, though.

A drink! I like the red ones. Apparently they come in different flavors.
